The card roguelike Abyssal Soul has entered Early Access on Android
Abyssal Soul: Card Roguelike is gearing up for its global release, but some players have already had the chance to experience the game ahead of its launch. ChillyRoom Studio has rolled out the Android early access version in 11 countries, including the United States and the Philippines.
Currently, early access is exclusive to Android devices. iOS owners are currently unable to join the test, even in regions where the launch is already open. The developers have not yet specified when the mobile version for Apple devices will be available.
Abyssal Soul is a classic card roguelike, where each playthrough is different thanks to procedurally generated events, enemies, and rewards. Players explore gloomy dungeons, gradually ascending floors and battling a variety of monsters using a custom deck of cards.

During their journey, players encounter several types of useful locations. One of these are bonfires, where the hero restores health before the next battles. Equally important is the forge, which allows the player to enhance their existing cards.
The developers promise high replay-ability through a wide range of card combinations and gameplay situations. To make the project more accessible to newcomers, the game includes pre-made recommended decks, allowing them to quickly master the core mechanics.
For those seeking a more serious challenge, the title offers 14 difficulty levels, each significantly altering the balance and tactical requirements. Additionally, a Memento system has been implemented, allowing players to save their most valuable card after completing a run and use it in their next playthrough.
