Bandai Namco has opened pre-registrations for the Digimon Alysion card game
Publisher Bandai Namco has launched pre-registration for Digimon Alysion, a mobile collectible card game set in the Digimon universe. The game is expected to be released in late December 2026. Players can look forward to PvP battles, a story campaign, daily free card packs, and a breeding mechanic for digital creatures — a feature somewhat unusual for this genre.

Pre-registration is available via the App Store and Google Play in supported regions. The game is slated for release in 49 countries, with a tentative launch date of December 23, 2026; however, the developers have currently provided a broader release window: sometime during 2026.

The core gameplay revolves around building your own deck and competing in matches against other users. Players can select cards based on their personal tactics and preferred combat style. An added incentive to log in regularly is a free card pack, which will be provided daily, helping players gradually expand their collections and experiment with different deck compositions.

The standout feature of Digimon Alysion, however, is the ability to not only battle with Digimon but also breed them. This system allows players to obtain creatures, including ultra-rare varieties. This mechanic is tied to an in-game encyclopedia, where players can gather information on over 100 digital monsters and steadily build out their catalog.

For those who prefer a solo experience, a story mode is also included. Beginners are also promised built-in tutorials to help them understand the rules and master game mechanics. Another announced feature is voice acting by well-known actors, though specific details about the cast have yet to be revealed.
