UnGodly received a major 0.17 patch with a new storyline and location
The RPG UnGodly has received update 0.17, which significantly changes the storytelling, the tutorial, and certain game mechanics. The developers believe that, following this patch, the project is much closer to its original vision.
The most significant change concerns the introduction. The opening cutscenes have been reworked to include more cinematic sequences that reveal the protagonist's past and personality. Combat training is now integrated directly into battles, so players no longer need to constantly break their flow to check pop-up hints.
The narrative has also gained depth. UnGodly now features branching dialogue, internal thoughts, and character monologues, while heroes can interact with one another in the tavern. Furthermore, the tavern is no longer merely a spot for brief chats.

The "Velvet Shroud" location has been completely overhauled. It is now an atmospheric dark-fantasy tavern that also serves as the secret headquarters of the Divine Legion. Here, players can chat with the bartender, control the music, examine interactive paintings that offer lore details, and browse books in the library.
To add variety, the first mini-game — "Dice of Fate" — has also been introduced.
Changes have been made to the progression system as well. Challenge keys can now be used more frequently and replenished manually. Additionally, Awakening Stones and relic chests are now available in a dedicated challenge shop.
The developers have also removed the weekly waiting period for unlocking new bosses. Now, you simply need to defeat all opponents in a given tier, and the next level of bosses unlocks immediately.
