Ares: The Iron Vanguard launches globally on iOS, Android, and PC
The global release of Ares: The Iron Vanguard has taken place on iOS, Android, and PC. Publisher Com2uS has opened access to the game and simultaneously launched introductory events offering rewards for new players.
At launch, the developers deployed six servers: three in Asia, two in Europe, and one in the Americas. New players are invited to participate in special events; completing tasks grants various bonuses and rewards to help them settle into the game more quickly.
However, the launch version is just the beginning. Com2uS is already preparing several major updates featuring additional gameplay elements. Plans include a cooperative mode, PvP, new classes, and raids designed for high-level players.
One upcoming feature is the "Space-Time Rift" mode. This is a cross-server PvP battle where players from different servers within the same region can face off against one another. In other words, it goes beyond the usual rivalry with fellow server-mates; players will compete against a much broader audience.

The developers are also working on the "Cell" system. This will allow players to combine various Operator Cells to activate set effects and keyword synergies. Based on the description, this system promises to add another layer of customization for characters and equipment.
The second major post-launch update will introduce a new region, "Ash Mountain," featuring additional challenges and a continuation of the storyline. The "Ash Hound" costume will also become available at that time.
Then, in the third major update, the developers plan to add a new class: the "Sharpshooter." Its distinctive feature is the use of two types of weapons: arrows and a chainsword. Additionally, well-leveled teams of 10 or more players will be able to take on the raid boss Beatrice.
