Vampires take up farming in Moonlight Peaks
Apparently, even creatures of the night can get tired of the eternal darkness and hunting for prey. Instead, they are embracing a quieter lifestyle: grow flowers, decorate their homes, and spend peaceful evenings by the water. Publishers XSEED Games, together with Marvelous USA, Inc., has officially launched Moonlight Peaks, an unusual life simulator that many are already describing as "the vampire version of Stardew Valley."
The game has been released on multiple platforms: Android, PC, and Nintendo Switch, including the Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. So far, an iOS version has not yet been announced.
The main feature of Moonlight Peaks is the familiar formula of cozy farming simulators, but with a unique twist. Instead of a typical farmer, the player takes on the role of a vampire determined to convince his father that he's capable of leading a peaceful life without constant hunting and chaos.
The gameplay revolves around developing your own settlement. Players must develop the territory, gather resources, craft various items, and gradually transform an abandoned place into a welcoming haven.
When it’s time to take a break from construction, they can nurture crops, embroider, fish, and participate in various mini-games. Furthermore, the crafting system also unlock a wide range of furniture and decorative items to personalize your vampire’s dream home.
