Mortal Kombat Mobile celebrates 11th anniversary and gives away rare characters
The popular mobile fighting game Mortal Kombat Mobile has launched a massive 11th anniversary celebration, timed to promote the film Mortal Kombat 2. The developers have prepared a comprehensive update, including new characters, generous daily bonuses, and the return of iconic in-game activities.

As part of the anniversary event, two new Diamond-tier fighters have been added to the game. The first is the classic Baraka, obtainable through the updated Battle Pass. The second is Shao Kahn, inspired by the film. This character has already captured the attention of players thanks to his record-breaking attack power among all available fighters. Shao Kahn's official addition is scheduled for May 8th, but early access will be available to Premium+ Battle Pass owners or those who achieve high rankings in Realm Klash.

The developers have also placed special emphasis on rewards for the audience. From April 1st to 11th, all users who log in daily will be able to receive up to 11 random classic series characters. Players will also receive additional rewards every day — 15 Dragon Crystals — making participation in the event especially rewarding.

The anniversary update also brings back a number of popular modes and adds new activities. Classic towers with nostalgic gear have been reintroduced, as well as a series of challenges starting with the classic Noob Saibot. The Krypt mode store will feature sought-after Diamond Brawlers, including Liu Kang, Jax, and Skarlet, giving players the chance to strengthen their collections.

The developers have also expanded leveling options. Players will now be able to level up characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Mileena, and Sonya Blade, unlocking new combat potential and improving their stats.
