A major crossover with Palworld and Dead Cells launches in Terraria
The Terraria developers have released the major update 1.4.5, now available on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. The patch's highlight is the long-awaited crossover with two popular titles — Palworld and Dead Cells — which significantly expands the sandbox's content and diversifies gameplay.
As part of the collaboration with Palworld, familiar Pals — creatures found in Pocketpair's new game — have been added to the world of Terraria. Along with them, players receive unique weapons, combat accessories, and special items inspired by the mechanics of the original game. The collaboration is complemented by content from Dead Cells: equipment and elements reminiscent of the fast-paced roguelike have been integrated into the game, which will be especially appreciated by fans of hardcore battles.
However, crossovers are only part of the update. Version 1.4.5 brings over 15 new furniture sets, five types of decorative cobblestones, four transformable mounts, additional whips, and dozens of cosmetic items for building and customization. The developers also added new seeds for world generation and redesigned the character and map creation menu, making it more visual and user-friendly.

Special attention was paid to balance and technical aspects: weapon behavior was revised, the stats of individual items were improved, classic sprites were updated, and numerous quality-of-life changes were implemented — from interface optimization to minor tweaks that speed up everyday actions in the game.
Currently, Terraria's catalog contains over 5,000 items, over 25 NPCs, and over 400 enemy types. The developers emphasize that the project's goal remains unchanged — to give every player the opportunity to create their own unique adventure by exploring the world, mining resources, and discovering new secrets of the deep.
