Gameplay details of Taimanin Squad revealed from the beta test
The first gameplay footage from the closed beta test of the mobile RPG Taimanin Squad, which began on January 15, has appeared online. Test participants have begun posting videos demonstrating the project's key mechanics, allowing users who did not have access to the test client to get a taste of the game.
Judging by the published materials, Taimanin Squad is based on a turn-based team combat system. During battles, the player forms a squad and alternately selects skills for each character, determining attack targets and prioritizing actions. Some missions involve fighting bosses with increased health and unique abilities, requiring more thoughtful tactics and careful team selection.
The developers have also included several additional modes built around the principle of completing floors and earning in-game currency. Performance is measured using a star system: the higher your score, the more valuable the rewards. These include resources for upgrading characters, as well as hero fragments needed to unlock or enhance them.

Characters are divided into elements, which interact with each other according to the classic "rock-paper-scissors" principle. Additionally, the game features a special elemental type that has an advantage over others. You can have up to four fighters in a squad, although this number may be limited in the early stages.
The game features a tutorial system that introduces newcomers to the basic mechanics, interface, and combat principles. Heroes can be developed in several ways: through equipment, leveling up, and by absorbing less rare characters to strengthen the team's core fighters.
New heroes and weapons are acquired through gacha banners — a random summoning system that uses in-game currency. Judging by the gameplay videos, this will become a key element of long-term progression in Taimanin Squad.
