Pre-registration opens for MMORPG MU: Dark Awakening
Publisher FingerFun Limited has announced pre-registration for the mobile MMORPG MU: Dark Awakening. The game is already available for waitlisting in the App Store and Google Play in several countries, with a tentative release date of mid-January 2026 (tentatively the 16th).

MU: Dark Awakening expands on the classic MU series formula, emphasizing dynamic action and a flexible combat system. A key feature of the game is the ability to freely switch between classes, adapting your combat style to the current task. At launch, players will have access to three basic roles: swordsman, mage, and archer. Skills from different classes can be combined, opening up opportunities for unique builds.

The online component is focused on large-scale clashes. Servers support PvP battles with up to 100 players simultaneously, as well as cross-server guild wars, where clans can compete for prestige and valuable rewards. For those who prefer a more leisurely progression, offline farming mechanics are available: characters continue to earn experience and resources even when the player is away.

The developers also promise increased drop rates for legendary items, which should accelerate progression and reduce the grind at high levels. Daily bonuses will provide an additional incentive: at launch, players will be encouraged to log in regularly to open chests with free rewards.

Pre-registration offers a generous selection of starting gifts. It includes an exclusive costume, mount, avatar, Fame Title, as well as in-game resources — crystals, attack and defense stones, and other useful items. These bonuses will become available after the official launch of the project.
