Bandai Namco announces BLEACH Mirrors High based on the iconic manga
Bandai Namco has officially unveiled a fresh mobile entry in the Bleach universe: BLEACH Mirrors High, which is scheduled to go live on iOS and Android devices in the summer of 2026. Along with the reveal, the developers rolled out a debut trailer on YouTube and launched the project's official website and social channels. Notably, the video streamed on Bandai Namco's global channel, indicating a planned worldwide release rather than a regional one.

Currently, the trailer is purely for presentation purposes: it does not include gameplay scenes or CGI fragments. Still, the publisher confirms that the project is in active development, and gameplay details will be revealed later.

One of the key features of BLEACH Mirrors High is the collaboration with Tite Kubo, the creator of the original Bleach manga. He is involved in several areas: he worked on the game's title, oversaw the script, and was responsible for character design. The manga artist himself noted that he invested even more in the project than expected. According to him, the game's visual style will be intentionally simplified, yet emotional and memorable, capable of leaving a lasting impression on players.

The plot of BLEACH Mirrors High will be partially connected to the main story of the manga and anime, while offering original elements that will expand the familiar universe and provide a new perspective on established characters.

Reaction from the community has been mixed. Some players are skeptical about the project's prospects, fearing that the mobile format will once again lead to the dominance of aggressive P2W mechanics. The tepid audience response to the previous Bleach mobile title from a different studio added further cause to the doubt. Despite this, Kubo's involvement fuels hope that BLEACH Mirrors High will deliver a more polished and high-quality experience.
