Tower of Fantasy launches a global server without gacha
Tower of Fantasy developers have confirmed the launch of a special server without gacha mechanics — a long-awaited event for fans of the project. The new format will be part of update 5.5 and will open on November 25th. It offers players an alternative development path based not on randomness, but on a stable resource acquisition through in-game activity.
This mode was first tested in the Chinese version, where it received positive reviews for its fair game balance and the elimination of random spins. Now it will be available to an international audience.
The main feature of the server is the absence of gacha spins. All weapons are now earned by completing story missions, activities, and progressing through the game. The weapon ascension system will also be disabled, making leveling up easier and more intuitive. Cosmetic items and skins will be crafted from shards, which can be obtained in a variety of ways, including through free trade with other players.

Additionally, the developers will implement a seasonal system — it will be regularly updated, offering unique rewards and challenges designed specifically for the non-gacha server. Clans will have a separate base where they can meet, coordinate, exchange items, and develop their own space.
Another major addition is six new professions, including Blacksmith, Explorer, and Chef. Each of them expands the possibilities of crafting, resource gathering, and interaction between players.
