Mutants: Genesis is coming to all platforms
Developers from the French studio Celsius Online have officially announced the release date of Mutants: Genesis, a card battler set in a dark world of high technology and genetic engineering. The game will leave early access and become available on May 20, 2025 on Steam, iOS, and Android platforms, and will also receive support for Steam Deck, tablets, and cross-platform progress synchronization.

Mutants: Genesis is more than just a collectible card game. It takes players to a dystopian future where humanity resolves conflicts not on the battlefield, but in holographic arenas, fighting with the help of genetically created mutants. Instead of the standard card draw, your units come to life right on the battlefield: each card turns into a full-fledged fighter with unique animation, history and combat abilities.

At the time of release, the game will offer more than 200 cards, divided into six genetic classes, which provides a variety of strategies and combinations. Players will be able to participate in both competitive PvP duels and cooperative battles against bosses, designed for teams of three people. A story campaign and regular updates with new content are also promised.

The main philosophy of the project is an F2P model without forced payments. Players will be able to upgrade their mutants and advance through the game without the need for donations. Cards in Mutants: Genesis can be improved, watching how they visually and tactically evolve.

According to CEO Celsius Online, the goal of the project is to realize the dream of CCG fans: "We wanted to create a game in which your cards really come to life. This is not just a fight — this is a real show." Pre-registration is now available in the App Store and Google Play. Players who pre-register will receive bonus packs at launch and a chance to get a rare mutant as a reward.
