Mobile fighter DCKO features fast-paced PvP and a server with 81ms latency
While the developers at Drop Fake prepare DCKO for its full launch, the game has already impressed closed beta participants. During the "Server Slam" event, players discovered a dedicated server with very low latency—around 81ms—which is crucial for fast-paced PvP action.

DCKO is a new free-to-play mobile game set in the DC Universe, developed by Drop Fake and officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is scheduled for release on iOS and Android in 2027.

The game’s core feature is real-time 2v2 combat. Players assemble a duo of superheroes and villains, switching between fighters mid-battle to execute special moves and chain together combos. The roster includes iconic DC figures such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Robin, Nightwing, and Constantine.

However, DCKO offers more than just PvP. The game includes PvE modes, story missions, and "Rifts," where players can battle opponents, earn rewards, and upgrade their roster. Players can level up characters, unlock new abilities, boost stats, and customize their super-move loadouts.

The developers have also placed a strong emphasis on visuals. DCKO features a "living comic book" art style, with expressive character animations and arenas based on locations familiar to DC fans, such as the Batcave, Metropolis, and the Lazarus Pits.

As this is currently an early version, the developers have explicitly stated that game balance, abilities, the UI, animations, and other elements are subject to significant changes. But even now, DCKO looks like a serious contender among mobile fighting games.
