Heroes from The Lord of the Rings will appear in Summoners War
The developers of the mobile RPG Summoners War have officially confirmed a collaboration with the Lord of the Rings universe. The announcement appeared on January 20th on the project's YouTube channel and immediately attracted the attention of fantasy fans: a short teaser showed the One Ring and iconic characters from the saga.
As part of the event, Frodo Baggins, Aragorn, Gollum, Legolas, and Gandalf will appear in the game. Each character will receive a unique design adapted to the visual style of Summoners War, as well as their own combat abilities. According to the developers, almost all characters will specialize in powerful area-of-effect attacks tied to a specific element, which could significantly impact the balance of arena battles and PvE modes.
The collaboration launches on January 29th. Frodo will be the only hero players will be able to obtain for free — he will be awarded during a special event. He will also be a 5-star character, making him one of the most valuable fighters in the collection.
The collaboration event is expected to last until March 1st. During this time, players will be able to participate in limited-time quests and receive rewards for logging in daily, including rare scrolls for summoning new characters.
