PvE and new modes are coming to Girls' Frontline: Fire Control
The developers of Girls' Frontline: Fire Control published a development diary, answering the community's most frequently asked questions and revealing their plans for the project's development. The team focused on expanding content, improving the user experience, and gradually introducing technical updates.
One of the key topics was the return of the PvE mode. This format was already present during the early stages of testing, but after analyzing player feedback, the developers concluded that the current implementation was not deep and diverse enough. The mode is currently being reworked to offer more intense gameplay, additional scenarios, and a clear progression system. Once the improvements are complete, PvE will return to the game in its full form.
An expansion of the content map has also been confirmed. Future updates are planned to add new locations, along with rotating temporary modes. Among these, the developers highlight the "Checkpoint" and "Minecart" formats, which will be available for a limited time and designed for more dynamic sessions.

The technical side of the project will also receive attention. Currently, the game uses settings focused on stability and a wide range of devices, but in the future, the option to enable higher FPS on compatible platforms will be added. This setting will be implemented gradually to avoid performance issues.
The team also confirmed the development of a PC version. It is in active production, but requires additional adaptation for keyboard and mouse controls, as well as optimization for other hardware parameters.
Work on the interface is also ongoing. Button opacity and size settings are already available, and in the future, players are promised a more flexible UI customization system.
Finally, the developers commented on the use of bots in matches. They are used early on to speed up matchmaking and help new players master the mechanics. As players gain skill, the number of bots decreases, and in later stages, they disappear from matchmaking entirely.
