Fallen Sword II is gearing up for release across iOS, Android, and PC in 2026
The Scottish studio Hunted Cow Games has officially unveiled Fallen Sword II, a sequel to the cult fantasy MMORPG inspired by classic RPGs of the early 2000s. The project is being developed as a cross-platform title: players will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Fallen Sword II on iOS, Android, and PC, with pages already live on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. A tentative launch window is May 24, 2026.

The new installment builds on the ideas of the original, focusing on turn-based combat, character development, and social interaction. The developers promise a sprawling fantasy realm with constant events and threats that demand the collective efforts of the community. One of the key features will be guilds, which will be able to rally for cooperative raids and defend the world from endless waves of Titans — powerful enemies designed for coordinated play.

Fallen Sword II will launch with six character classes: warrior, mage, rogue, defender, priest, and archer. Each class will have its own combat style, skill set, and tactical role within the group. A deep progression system will allow players to experiment with builds and tailor their characters for PvE and PvP encounters.

The game will also deliver extensive crafting mechanics. Players can craft weapons and armor, brew alchemical potions, and enchant equipment to boost stats and fine-tune items to their playstyle. The economy will be tightly linked to guild activity and cooperative modes.

The original Fallen Sword, released in December 2006, was a surprising hit for its developers. Within the first few months of its release, the project attracted hundreds of thousands of players, and by the end of its first year, the number of registered accounts had exceeded one million. The creators aim to recapture that magic with the sequel that blends the nostalgic spirit of classic RPGs with modern features and multi-platform support.
