Wuthering Waves will receive update 2.8 featuring four 5★ heroes
Wuthering Waves update 2.8 has been officially unveiled, and the developers have confirmed the release date: November 20th. This patch is set to be one of the most extensive in recent months: it includes a new city zone, two story acts, rare characters, and fresh game modes focused on exploration and immersive atmospheres.
The main revelation of the presentation was the new location — Chronorift Metropolis. This futuristic metropolis exists on the edge of time and reality, offering large-scale vertical spaces, dynamic street events, and a series of missions centered around fixing temporal anomalies. The city will serve as the basis for part of the new storyline and several temporary activities.
Version 2.8 will add two major story acts, expanding the world's lore and shedding light on the origins of Echo and the mysterious rifts appearing across the continent. Players will also receive a new cosmetic item — the "Downtown Repose" skin for Zani, inspired by the urban cyberpunk vibe.
