Wuthering Waves will receive update 2.8 with four 5★ heroes
Wuthering Waves update 2.8 has been officially unveiled, and the developers have confirmed the release date: November 20th. The patch will be one of the most extensive in recent months: it includes a new city zone, two story acts, rare characters, and unique game modes focused on exploration and atmosphere.
The main revelation of the presentation was the new location — Chronorift Metropolis. This high-tech metropolis exists on the border of time and reality. The developers promise large-scale vertical spaces, dynamic street events, and a series of missions in which the player will have to deal with temporal anomalies. The city will serve as the basis for part of the new storyline and several temporary activities.
Version 2.8 will add two major story acts, expanding the world's lore and answering questions about the nature of Echo and the strange rifts appearing across the continent. Players will also receive a new cosmetic item — the "Downtown Repose" skin for Zani, inspired by the urban cyberpunk atmosphere.
