Age of Empires Mobile welcomes the Arab civilization
On October 14, the global mobile strategy game Age of Empires Mobile received a long-awaited update. The developers added a new, ninth civilization — the Arabs. Now players can build cities amidst the golden sands of the desert, admire domes and minarets, and hear the sound of camel bells in the morning, transporting them to the atmosphere of the medieval Middle East.

The main star of the update is the famous commander Salah ad-Din, whose strategic genius aids in sieges and battles. He now forms the core of a powerful army, capable of influencing the course of any battle, alongside such historical figures as Cyrus the Great and Suleiman I.

Arab units have received unique designs and special abilities. Archers and camel riders possess skills that will force many players to reconsider their tactics and strategies. Camel riders are a completely new unit type in the game, making army management even more interesting and varied.

The update also affected other civilizations. The Chinese now have new mercenaries with bamboo branches, the French have received axe-throwing warriors, and the British have bolstered their armies with longbow archers.

To promote the update, the developers released a vibrant trailer showcasing the new architecture, units, and atmosphere of the Arab civilization. Players will not only be able to enjoy the visual improvements but also try out new combat mechanics that change the familiar gameplay.
