The role-playing game Wuthering Waves continues to evolve and delight fans with major updates. Developers Kuro Games have dropped patch 2.7, titled "Dawn Shatters the Dark Tide." The update brings a host of new content: fresh characters, unique weapons, unexplored regions, and temporary events offering valuable loot.
The highlight of this update is the arrival of two five-star characters: Galbrena, a master of rapid-fire dual-wielding pistols, and Qiuyuan, a swordsman with devastating melee attacks. Both heroes are available through limited-time banners, along with signature five-star weapons that perfectly complement their combat styles. Players who log in after the update will also receive 600 Astrite and 2 Crystal Solvent as a welcome gift for launching version 2.7.
The patch also unlocked new regions — Sanguis Plateaus and Plane of Dark Tide. These zones are filled with fresh enemies, rare materials, and hidden quests that reveal more details about the Wuthering Waves universe. Additionally, new story chapters have been added, expanding the main campaign, providing more narrative depth.
Limited events will run until October 30th and November 19th, where players can try out innovative gadgets, complete combat challenges, and earn in-game resources. One of the events is dedicated to photo missions, encouraging participants to capture spectacular shots during battles.
