Sephiroth is now a playable character in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis

In honor of the second anniversary of the mobile project Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, Square Enix held an online presentation. At it, the developers revealed plans for future content and presented the main novelty — Sephiroth in the game's roster.
Sephiroth in the Original version became the central event of the anniversary, and now every player can use him in battles. Along with him, a collaboration with the cult film Advent Children was added to the project, from where new thematic images and the character Bahamut SIN came. In addition, the creators are introducing a unique mechanic — the ability to acquire and use enemy abilities, which significantly expands the strategic options for battles.

The Ever Crisis story campaign also continues to develop: in the second half of October, a new episode will be released, which will complete the current arc. And already in November, gamers will have a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIII — special costumes and events will be added to the game. December will bring an even larger collaboration: the NieR franchise will join Ever Crisis with three parts at once - Replicant, Reincarnation and Automata.
The presentation also announced the long-awaited news: Tetsuya Nomura, the legendary designer and creative producer, confirmed that the development of the new part of Final Fantasy VII Remake and the Kingdom Hearts IV project is going according to plan. For fans, this is a signal — ahead are not only updates to the mobile game, but also major releases in the main series.
