Mysticism, love and investigation: Side Kicks! beyond has been released
On May 5, the mobile visual novel Side Kicks! beyond was globally released — a sequel to the popular game Side Kicks!, released in 2017. Now the English version of the project is available on iOS and Android platforms in almost all regions. However, there is an important limitation: all character lines are voiced exclusively in Japanese.

The player will take on the role of the main character — a young girl named Inori, who joins an elite special group called the Sidekicks. This team fights a new wave of crime in the fictional American city of Sakurada, located in the state of California. The main threat is a mysterious and deadly drug called "Ripcord", which is rapidly spreading among the population.

The events in Side Kicks! beyond combine a crime thriller, mysticism and elements of romance. The main character has an unusual gift — she sees prophetic dreams, which often become the key to solving intricate cases. In the fight against crime, she will be assisted by charismatic men — each with their own story, secrets and motives. Players will be able to get to know each member of the team better, go through personal storylines and influence the ending — there are several of them, and some of them can be a real surprise.

Side Kicks! beyond

Compared to the original version, Side Kicks! beyond received updated high-resolution graphics, improved sound effects and a redesigned user interface. The developers also added new episodes that expand the main plot, and held a crossover with another popular game — BUSTAFELLOWS, which will especially please fans of the otome genre and visual novels.

Despite the language restrictions, Side Kicks! beyond beyond is already attracting interest from an international audience, thanks to its style, detailed world and deep plots. For fans of anime, detective stories and romance, this is certainly one of the most notable releases of the spring.
