Avatar: Realms Collide prepares a massive server-vs-server PvP showdown
The dev team behind Avatar: Realms Collide shared details about the project's future, emphasizing major updates that are expected to significantly change the gameplay. According to the studio, the second year of the game will be a key stage of development: the team intends to make the project more accessible, action-packed, and stay faithful to the core vibe of the original Avatar universe.

The main innovation is the introduction of a server-versus-server mode. This is a large-scale PvP format in which players will participate not individually or in small groups, but across entire game worlds. These battles will be cyclical: each campaign will last approximately two weeks, followed by an eight-week cooldown before the next stage kicks off.

Each kingdom drafts its top-tier fighters, sending them into dedicated war zones. There, they will fight side by side as one unit, defending the honor of their server and earning collective rewards. This format emphasizes not only individual skill but also strategy, team coordination, and long-term planning.

However, PvP is not the only content drop. The game will also feature new companions and an expanded arsenal of equipment, allowing for more flexible playstyle customization. Additional characters will be added while the leveling system will become deeper and more diverse, opening up more development options.

Furthermore, the developers are preparing new game modes, including variations of the "defense" format, where players must hold positions and withstand waves of enemies. All of these are designed to boost player engagement and retention, especially among those who prefer more relaxed and casual grind.
