Netmarble is expanding the soft launch of The King of Fighters AFK
Netmarble Company continues to actively prepare for the global release of its new mobile game The King of Fighters AFK. As part of the second phase of the soft launch, the project has become available in three new countries — Canada, Indonesia, and the Philippines. You can download the game now in the App Store and Google Play.

Soft launch is an important stage during which developers collect feedback, check balance, and improve the gameplay. That is why Netmarble decided to reward the first players to open the game in these regions. In honor of the expansion of the launch, limited-time events with valuable rewards are being held. In particular, for a regular daily login to the game you can get the legendary fighter Ryo Sakazaki, and the first two days of authorization will allow you to add rare characters Xiangfei and Momoko to your collection.

In addition, a new banner was launched with increased chances of getting fighters Mai Shiranui and Chizuru Kagura — these characters are especially valued for their synergy in battle and balanced support and attack skills.

The King of Fighters AFK offers players a fresh take on the iconic series. The visual style is made in pixel art, and the combat roster includes more than 113 unique heroes, including 36 legendary fighters, 38 supports and 17 pets. Fans will recognize familiar characters from various games in the series, including retro projects such as The King of Fighters R-2 on NeoGeo Pocket Color.

The game's content is truly massive: there are over 9,000 PvE stages, 10 unique dungeons with resource farming, and 15 competitive PvP modes, including rating battles.

Let us remind you that the global release is scheduled for June 30, 2025. Now everyone can pre-register and receive starting rewards after the release. Netmarble expects that the gradual expansion of the audience will ensure the most stable and interesting launch in all markets.
