Mobile horror games Capcom: Resident Evil 7 at launch, Resident Evil 2 Remake are preparing for release
Japanese developer and publisher of computer games Capcom has announced two interesting news at once. Firstly, the seventh series of the cult action-horror Resident Evil will soon be released in a mobile format, the port for which is being prepared right now. If everything goes according to schedule, starting July 2, the demo version of the game will be available for free download on:

  • iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max;
  • IPad/Mac not older than 2020 (requires M1 or M2 chip);
  • Mac computers.

Resident Evil-7 will receive an Auto Fire mode, valid for a limited time, for more convenient aiming, but the touch controls will carry over from the old version without changes, so experts advise getting a Bluetooth controller to experience the maximum pleasure from the game.

Release of mobile games from Capcom

Pre-registration has not been announced yet, but should take place in the App Store. It is also indicated that the “Universal Purchase” function will be used to purchase the full version. This means that after making a one-time payment, you can play on both iPhone and Mac. Unfortunately, at the moment the costs of the full version, as well as the price of the Gold edition with additions, remain unknown.

Google Play remains silent for now, but it’s unlikely that Android owners will be left out of the new product for long, so we’ll wait.

The second good news was Capcom's announcement that the remake of Resident Evil 2, released in 2019, would be transferred to the same mobile format. There is not much information on it yet, all we know is that it will also be possible to play on iPhone, iPad and Mac and thanks to MetalFX scaling technology (which is also used in the development of Resident Evil 7), the manufacturer promises gamers console-quality picture quality. The release date has not been announced even approximately.
