Motorola has released its new folding device, which is also a smartphone. And all thanks to a flexible display that allows you to turn your smartphone into a "clamshell." In addition, this is the first smartphone in the world with such a form factor. The folding mechanism was created jointly with Lenovo and includes several plates and hinges. According to the manufacturer, numerous tests have shown that the brand-new folding device is able to live as much as regular smartphones. The device is coated with a special coating for reliable protection, there is also protection against splashes. To protect the device from dust ingress, the edges of the screen at the bends were covered with stainless steel plates.

Motorola RAZR has a flexible OLED matrix Flex View with a diagonal of 6.2 inches and a resolution of 2142x876 pixels. On the outside there is another screen with a 2.7-inch POLED matrix and a resolution of 800x600 pixels. The Snapdragon 710 chip is responsible for the performance, the memory was 6/128 GB, the main camera is 16 megapixels with aperture of f/1.7, a selfie module of 5 megapixels with aperture of f/2.0. The battery capacity matches 2510 mAh, there is a fast charging TurboPower at 15 watts. The device runs on Android 9 Pie, it also has: USB Type-C, an NFC chip, built-in eSIM and a fingerprint scanner in the form of a button on the lower protruding edge. Unfortunately, the novelty will not be available for most countries of the world, while the device will be exclusive to the American mobile operator Verizon. Acceptance of pre-orders will begin already on December 26, and the novelty will go on sale from January 9, 2020. They rated the device at $1,500, in Europe they expect it with a price tag of €1,700.
