Interactive detective St. Noire with Alexa voice assistant
The company X2 Games, led by Atari co-founder Nolan Bushnell, released an interactive detective St. Noire, where the lead will be a smart column Amazon Echo. According to the developers, Alexa will not interrupt the player with clues, but on the contrary will enhance the atmosphere of immersion (include background music, voice dialogs). There are 12 key characters in the detective story, but the killer and the victim change with each new game. This is done in order to avoid repetitions and slightly confuse the player. You will have to visit different locations and interrogate heroes in order to find clues and solve a case. The player asks questions Alexa, and the assistant in turn voiced the replicas of the characters. The game itself is multiplayer, each player competes with each other in the number of cases solved. The game was presented at the Comic Con event on July 20 in San Diego. The cost of the set is $40, the Alexa voice assistant is not included in the package.
